Spring Grebe. Two dancing necks/two bobbing, ruddy, crested heads/two paddling as one and yet/two pairs of lifted, water-sparking legs.
Beginnings...As an ecologist and writer, poetry and nature have always been important in my life, and I have long been fascinated by the human condition. I can remember, as an eight-year old, writing poems about the creatures and plants in my garden and on people-watching from my bedroom window. However, it is only recently that I have had the time to indulge my passion for this art, aided by my love of long walks and photography. I hope you will find that my poems strike a chord with you, thank you for your interest, Eva. | Poems of Waking. I am currently working on a collection entitled poems of waking, and will feature poems from it here every month. I aim to be published so please contact me if you are interested or can offer feedback and constructive criticism, with thanks, Eva.
